P. lady scarborough
Scent/aroma: ripe strawberries
Leaf: light green which darkens with age with occasional tinge of red, light toothe edge, slightly curled
Flower: creamy white with crimson/plum blotch and feathering to upper petals
Growing Habit: upright and bushy with occasional semi trailing branch, Ht. up to 36" x 36" spread
Other Info: Cultivar from Species 'p. scarboroviae'. Will do extra well in large pots and containers. We have a mature Lady Scarborough that is now 3 years+ old and she is doing exceptionally well in our tunell due to being in a very large 60 ltr container. May be grown as a house plant but requires regular attention + will require a reasonable sized pot, minimum of 12ins depth x similar spread. Lady Scarborough puts on a magnificent display over many months.
Annie & Guy's Comments: Visitors to our Nursery are always stunned that a 'geranium' could possibly smell of ripe strawberries. Yes, Lady Scarborough really does. We also like the leaf colour which has a tinge of red to it and this is a lovely contrast to the pretty flowers. Highly recommended - always in high demand and availability goes extra fast.
